Up Dharma Down is featured in this month's People Asia. check it out! check it out! The set was shot with Dawnsky at the Salcedo Park in Makati.

All photos are shot with Canon 20D and with 50mm 1.8 lens.

We went to Corregidor with fellow Zone V Camera Club members last April for an out of town shoot. Strangely enough after reviewing the photos i liked, there were similarities between them. I noticed that most of them have a dead tree in the composition.

Well amidst the eerie atmosphere on the island, you can still apreaciate it's beauty. this is my first set of photos. i'll try to dig up some more. All photos are shot with a Canon 20D.

(it's very interesting how we made this shot. we used a technique called "light painting" wherein you shine flashlights onto the building and hold your shutter open for about 30 seconds or so. it was pitch black so we all had to bunch together. it was a fun experience though, since it was a rare occasion when the whole club would shoot as a group.)

(i used a very special type of lens to get the misty effect. hehe a foggy one. it was very early in the morning and it was so cold. my lens started to fog up once i took it out of the bag. i just took advantage of it and continued to shoot anyway hehe)

so far, all i see is death. i'd better post another set to show the lighter side of Corregidor. :)

this is one of my best photo project this year. not my best work but definitely the best group to cover. thanks to stef for making it all happen and to dawnsky for helping out during the shoot :)

The only reason why I paired them up is because I shot them together in UP. Of course both of them are still active in the OPM scene with Raimund heading Sandwich while Buddy is the new bassist of the Dawn. All photos were taken at UP Diliman.

It was our first time to visit pahiyas, a yearly festival in Lucban, Quezon. Good thing the rain subsided :) i was amazed by how much effort the people of Lucban put into decorating their houses. Some households were even rumored to spending atleast half a million pesos. Shocking.








Some jokes never grow old. di ba, erap? :)




While others were celebrating, some were struggling to get by. Weird. People were ready to spend thousands on lavish decorations while they turn a cold shoulder to their starving brothers and sisters.
