I've heard that line before but i never realized how real it is until i read this article. it basically states that the government is spending P110 MILLION for www.gov.ph. man! that is waaaaaayyy too much for redesigning a website. the payment portal worth 60 million is somewhat understandable (relative to international standards) but 50 million for just the look of the site?! baka 1 million lang talaga yung gastos and 49 million yung "commission." ganun ba ka-panget yung current site kaya kelangan gastusan ng 50 million? ;)

 i think the govt should be transparent with their spendings. or better yet, our government should just issue an annual report of its spendings and distribute it to all taxpayers, para malinaw lahat. walang kababalaghan.

with the upcoming income tax return deadline this april, parang nakakawalang gana magbayad ng buwis :(
